Job summary

Exodigo is seeking a hands-on Safety Manager to lead safety across our growing US field operations. You will own the development and day-to-day execution of our field safety program, supporting employees and field partners across multiple regions.

You will observe work sites, coach crews, address risks, and build standards, training, and processes to scale safety. The role requires travel and night-shift support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of occupational or field safety experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure, transportation, or a similar operational environment.
• Experience supporting dispersed field crews across multiple active project sites.
• Working knowledge of state and federal OSHA requirements and practical experience with hazard assessments, site inspections, training, and incident investigations.
• Willingness to travel frequently and support night shifts when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead field safety by establishing clear, practical safety standards embedded into daily operations.
• Maintain a strong field presence with site visits, inspections, and audits across US projects, including night operations.
• Support project planning by reviewing risks and helping teams develop site-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses.
• Manage operational risks such as traffic exposure, roadside work, and confined spaces with clear controls.
• Train and coach teams through onboarding, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
• Oversee field partner safety and verify training and documentation before work begins.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and drive corrective actions across regions.
• Maintain safety records and ensure compliance with governmental, client, and site requirements.
• Track safety performance and provide leadership with actionable recommendations to close gaps.
