Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Safety Specialist to support field teams and managers in implementing safety and health policies. The role focuses on regulatory compliance and continuous safety improvement across projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include developing safety plans, leading trainings, conducting audits, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure policy adherence. The position requires a bachelor degree in Safety and Health and 5+ years in construction safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Targeting 5+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry.
• BCSP Certification preferred (ASP, CSP, CHST).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce injuries and incidents.
• Provide training on safety and health requirements to personnel.
• Lead safety meetings and training programs for effective policy communication.
• Perform safety audits, inspections and corrective actions across operations.
• Investigate injuries and general liability incidents.
• Coordinate safety programs with subcontractors and third-party personnel.
