Job summary

Patriot Erectors, LLC in Adkins, TX, is seeking an experienced EH&S professional to integrate safety into daily South Texas project operations, building processes that prevent injuries, ensure compliance, and minimize environmental impact.

This hands-on, field-first role partners with project managers, superintendents, and crews to drive proactive safety improvements, training, and precise documentation, including OSHA logs and certifications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in EH&S in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations for the trades you’ll oversee.
• Strong communication and listening skills—able to take feedback from the crew’s perspective.
• Excellent recordkeeping including controlled documentation and change management.
• Comfortable accessing elevated work via ladders or scaffolding to evaluate conditions.
• Nice-to-haves: CHST, CSP, OSHA 500/510 (trainer) and experience in structural steel fabrication; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Task Risk Assessment: identify safety risks before work begins.
• Site Presence: visit active project sites to assess conditions and ensure compliance.
• Partner & Solve: work with project teams to develop practical safety solutions.
• Records & Compliance: maintain OSHA 300 logs with audit-ready documentation.
• Training: train employees on safe practices and maintain safety certifications (OSHA OTI).
• Accountability: enforce minimum safety standards with employees and subcontractors.
• Continuous Improvement: identify emerging risks and implement countermeasures.
