Nucor Rebar Fabrication Southwest in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Production Supervisor to implement policies and lead shop teams toward safe, efficient production in alignment with Branch Manager directives.

The role emphasizes safety, performance, and cost control, with responsibilities spanning hiring, training, scheduling, and equipment stewardship to keep operations compliant and productive.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 5–8 years of reinforcing steel fabrication or related experience, with at least 3 years as a supervisor.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA Industrial Safety Standards.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct leads and shop teammates on safety, production volume, cost, quality and schedules.
• Manage workforce levels and overtime to meet customer needs and control costs.
• Oversee hiring, training, motivation and evaluation of the team.
• Coordinate inventory and order reinforcing steel as needed to meet inventory goals.
• Ensure machinery and facilities are maintained for efficient production.
• Authorize and purchase replacement parts and advise on capital expenditures.
• Provide operating data to Production Department Manager to improve costs and efficiency.
• Maintain good employee relations and enforce company policy and labor agreements.
