Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a respected construction firm, seeks a Safety Representative based in Rayville, LA. You will be the frontline safety lead on active job sites, enforcing regulations, coaching crews, and coordinating with project leadership to prevent incidents.

This hands-on role requires OSHA 30, STS-C, 3–5 years of construction safety experience, and the ability to travel. Expect to conduct orientations, inspections, investigations, and detailed record-keeping while

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• STS-C and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review, implement, and support safety regulations, policies, and standards across projects.
• Serve as a safety advisor to project managers and field personnel.
• Conduct jobsite safety orientations and ongoing training for crews.
• Perform daily safety inspections to identify and correct hazards.
• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, with reporting.
• Coach crews on safe work practices and maintain detailed safety records.
