Job summary

National Electrical Engineering Consultants (NEEC) LLC seeks a Safety Coordinator to support the health and safety programs across active project sites nationwide. The role collaborates with field teams, project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations as well as company policies.

The position emphasizes site inspections, incident investigations, training, documentation, and promoting a proactive safety culture on multi-state projects requiring

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of safety experience in construction, utilities, substations, or renewable energy projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong observational, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in active construction and energization environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of NEEC’s health and safety programs across active project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, incident investigations, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Track and report safety metrics, including incident rates and trends.
• Collaborate with project managers, commissioning teams, and engineers to integrate safety into all project phases.
