Job summary

R-2 Contractors, Inc. seeks a dedicated Site Safety Lead to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees on our job sites. This full-time, field-based role reports to the Safety Manager and requires travel across the United States.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend work and over 50 hours as needed. Responsibilities include conducting site walks, safety audits, and trainings while maintaining compliance with OSHA 1926 and company policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of safety experience in construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations.
• Current OSHA 30 (Construction) and First Aid/CPR required.
• HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• CHST/CSP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety walks and audits.
• Provide safety trainings to craft employees on safety measures.
• Lead incident review meetings with clients and GCs.
• Maintain safety documentation and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate safety policies and procedures.
• Manage accident and safety claims and case management.
• Collaborate with field supervision to ensure safety compliance.
