Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking a field-based Project Safety Manager to oversee safety performance across power generation construction, maintenance, commissioning, outage, and capital improvement projects nationwide.

The ideal candidate will lead safety programs in the field, engage operations teams, conduct risk assessments, investigations, and audits, and travel up to 75% to support a strong safety culture across multiple sites in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of safety experience in power generation, industrial construction, or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard mitigation practices.
• Experience leading safety programs, audits, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Support project-specific safety programs nationwide.
• Conduct field audits, site inspections, and safety observations.
• Assist with JHAs, pre-task planning, and risk assessments.
• Promote safe work practices across mechanical, civil, electrical and commissioning activities.
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses.
• Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and maintain records and metrics.
• Support emergency response planning and site readiness.
• Travel extensively to active project sites across the United States.
