Job summary

Cherokee Millwright, Inc. is hiring a Field Safety Supervisor to monitor compliance with federal and state safety regulations and provide technical safety support to plant personnel and corporate teams.

The role enforces safety programs, identifies training needs, and participates in process reviews and hazard analyses to minimize risk. A bachelor’s degree in safety or engineering and at least five years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety science or engineering required.
• Minimum five years in safety coordination or higher.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and state regulations.
• Ability to develop training programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff in PM, HR, legal, and operations.
• Provide technical safety support to field and corporate teams.
• Enforce safety programs and policies.
• Identify safety training needs and coordinate programs.
• Participate in process reviews and hazard analyses.
• Develop SWPs and JSA documents.
• Monitor injury trends and audits.
