Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking a Safety Intern to assist the Site Safety Specialist in enforcing safety procedures across field operations and to help ensure OSHA compliance in the workplace.

You will coach teammates on safety best practices, perform site assessments, document corrective actions, participate in safety committee meetings, and support incident reporting and investigation processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing safety/engineering degree preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.
• Must demonstrate ability to learn and apply safety regulations and company policies.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Safety Specialist in enforcing safety procedures on site.
• Coach teammates on safety best practices and behaviors.
• Conduct site assessments to ensure safe working conditions.
• Document corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Participate in safety committee meetings with sites and customers.
