Job summary

Park Construction Company is seeking a Safety Intern to assist the safety team on active construction sites. The role involves data tracking, site inspections, and helping with training activities under supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience with OSHA standards, incident investigations, and safety communications across project sites, with travel to Twin Cities-area sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, actively pursuing a Bachelor's in safety or construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support the Safety team in complying with safety regulations and policies.
• Collect, organize, and analyze safety and health data.
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations with field personnel.
• Help communicate safety lessons to field personnel.
• Coordinate site safety initiatives and track action items from audits and inspections.
• Assist with safety briefings, training sessions, and new-employee orientations.
• Support injury and incident documentation and PPE tracking.
