Millstone Weber LLC is seeking a Safety Intern to support project teams in implementing and maintaining an EH&S program on active construction sites. Under supervision, the intern will promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA standards.

The role includes supporting daily safety activities, inspections, documentation, and incident follow-up, with requirements for pursuing a related Bachelor's degree, strong attention to detail, and willingness to travel

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction safety principles and OSHA regulations.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital reporting tools.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Safety Coordinator and Superintendent in daily safety activities and inspections.
• Help ensure contractor compliance with safety plans and policies.
• Participate in routine job site inspections and document observations in the HCSS system or other reporting tools.
• Support collection, organization, and maintenance of safety documentation such as JSAs, Toolbox Talks, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), inspection reports, and permits.
• Observe and assist in incident investigations and preparation of related reports.
• Participate in new employee safety orientations and other safety meetings.
• Support the review of safety submittals, training records, and equipment inspection reports.
• Promote company safety initiatives and culture across the project team.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to safety compliance tracking and recordkeeping.
• Attend project and corporate safety committee meetings as directed.
