Job summary

SGS is seeking a field evaluation professional in Georgia to conduct safety evaluations and testing of equipment during field installations. You will execute and report projects per national safety standards, and occasionally perform product testing in SGS laboratories.

Responsibilities include delivering clear field evaluation reports, communicating results to customers, coordinating travel, and adhering to SGS policies.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical field or technical degree with related work experience.
• Knowledge of NEC, UL and NFPA safety standards is desired.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Safety Evaluations and Testing of Equipment in field installation settings per national safety standards.
• Deliver field evaluation reports and documentation within defined time frames.
• Communicate field evaluation results with customers.
• Review customer responses to non-compliance reports as needed.
• Schedule travel and execute evaluations to minimize travel time and costs.
• Provide travel and expense cost estimates.
