Job summary

Hotard Coaches seeks a dedicated Supervisor - Field Safety and Training in Port Arthur, TX. You will design and deliver driver training, oversee BTW tests, and ensure safety across routes and operations.

This role supports onboarding and the use of driver tech tools, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include incident investigation, training material preparation, and collaboration with safety leadership to advance company-wide safety initiatives and DOT

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ total experience with CDL (Class A or B).
• Minimum 1-year experience operating vehicle in-type.
• Safety, Training and DOT Regulation experience is required.
• Previous experience supervising staff is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and coordinate driver training programs.
• Perform behind-the-wheel road tests and route familiarization.
• Deliver vehicle and route-specific training for safe operation.
• Support onboarding and classroom training, including refresher sessions.
• Coordinate training materials for classroom, BTW, and skills-based programs.
• Track driver training certifications, attendance, and performance.
• Provide training and support for driver technology tools.
• Investigate accidents or incidents and assist with reports.
• Assist with incident reporting and collision subrogation.
• Support drug and alcohol testing program compliance.
• Participate in quarterly safety meetings.
