Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of operating vehicle in-type or similar role.
• Progressive leadership roles demonstrated.
• Experience with safety training and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lot operations to keep drivers, vehicles, and routes on schedule.
• Adjust daily schedules to cover absences, passenger volume changes, or vehicle issues.
• Track driver attendance and ensure full shift coverage.
• Review driver timecards for payroll accuracy and approvals.
• Coordinate with Leadership, Dispatch and Maintenance to address staffing and vehicle issues.
• Monitor on-time performance and rider satisfaction.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift safety briefings and gather operator feedback.
• Inspect buses for readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Support onboarding of new drivers and safety expectations.
• Implement contingency plans during weather events or service disruptions.
• Provide real-time guidance and feedback to drivers as needed.
• Document incidents and escalate to Operations Leadership/HR when appropriate.
