Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 30 Hour certification required.
• 2+ years in a safety role in heavy construction.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and databases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-through inspections of field job sites to identify and eliminate hazards.
• Organize and conduct safety meetings and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, orientation, and OSHA training.
• Identify environmental risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead accident investigations and case management.
• Administer safety permitting processes (Lockout/Tagout, etc.).
• Collaborate with HR and site leaders on safety concerns.
• Conduct mandatory new hire safety orientation as needed.
