Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services seeks an experienced Area Safety Auditor to lead field safety audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safety training delivery across operating areas. The role involves assessing customer safety requirements, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

Ideal candidates have five years in oilfield service ops, strong OSHA knowledge, and proven mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

• Five years' hands-on oilfield service ops or support experience.
• Two years' safety facilitation and leadership.
• Strong understanding of OSHA regs and relevance to operations.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations related to operations.
• Ability to calculate safety benchmarks (TRIR, DART).
• Ability to mentor operations personnel and lead teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint for training/presentations.
• High school diploma; some college prep preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and mentor operations personnel in safe work planning and practice.
• Conduct field safety audits across operating areas for compliance and improvement.
• Assess customer safety requirements and create remediation plans.
• Attend customer safety functions as company safety rep on a multi-area basis.
• Support and implement safety training for area personnel.
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Participate in safety and environmental policy development.
• Maintain records of safety audits and report to EH&S Manager.
• Provide safety training including Defensive Driving, First Aid/CPR, PEC.
