Job summary

GENDA Americas is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service amusement machines across our locations. You will drive our company vehicle, clean machines, merchandise products, and ensure playability by accurate counts.

The role requires reliable self-management, basic math, mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license. Japanese language skills are strongly preferred, with a potential language differential; a sign-on bonus applies for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Retail merchandiser should have strong general mathematical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic machine repair strongly preferred.
• Efficient at managing a workload with minimal supervision.
• Cell phone and basic computer skills required, including texting, email, and using company iPhone apps.
• Solid organization skills in managing paperwork, tools, parts, etc.
• Pre-employment motor vehicle record check, criminal background check and 4 panel drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company vehicle to located on a designated route each day.
• Clean amusement machines inside and out, including cranes and video games.
• Merchandise products in machines to look visually appealing and ready to play; count pieces for playability.
• Collect cash, coins and tokens; may prepare a daily deposit.
• Troubleshoot and fix machine issues with Tech Support as needed.
• Account for the security of money, machines and merchandise on the route.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with locations and staff.
• Maintain detailed records of meter readings.
• Overnight travel required 1–2 times per month during the week.
• Assist other Field staff with installing/removing equipment as needed.
• Japanese language skills strongly preferred to support initiatives.
