Job summary

Seaman Corporation seeks a FiberTite Technical Representative to provide in-field technical support across designated territory. You will work with applicator personnel, building owners, architects, and sales staff to ensure proper installation and warrantable performance of FiberTite systems.

The role requires 2–5 years in roofing, ability to read blueprints, strong communication, and readiness for substantial travel (70–80%). Training will be provided and a strong safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of roofing and/or roof inspections experience.
• Basic PC skills: WordPerfect, Excel, email, Internet.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction blueprints and specs, and perform basic estimating.
• Knowledge of roofing systems and leak detection methods for single-ply roofs.
• Strong verbal and written communication; report writing ability.
• Working knowledge of building codes (FM, UL, Miami-Dade).
• Hands-on experience with hot-air welding for thermoplastic single-ply roofing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work per Technical Services guidelines; arrange travel.
• Visit roof sites to monitor installation and resolve issues per FiberTite specs.
• Train applicator personnel in proper use and installation of FiberTite products.
• Conduct final inspections to ensure warranty acceptance per guidelines.
• Investigate warranty claims and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide technical support to local/regional sales teams.
• Adhere to CARE philosophy and company policies.
• Maintain travel and expenses within policy; may require travel outside territory.
