Job summary

Destro AI is seeking a field deployment engineer to bring our MothershipOS into live warehouses. You will work directly with customer operations, IT, and engineering teams to deploy, validate, and stabilize the software stack, including off-hours go-lives.

You will own production issues end-to-end, improve uptime and throughput, configure Docker-based services, and work with GCP for image management. The role requires travel to customer sites and on-call rotations in high‑pressure environments.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in systems engineering, robotics software, backend engineering, infrastructure, or field engineering.
• Comfortable being paged off-hours and traveling on short notice.
• Operate independently in ambiguous, high-pressure environments without perfect specs.
• Calm under pressure, direct with customers, strong ownership mentality.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and validate Destro AI's software stack in live warehouses, working directly with customer ops, IT, and engineering teams.
• Own production issues end-to-end during launch and stabilization, including off-hours incidents.
• Improve uptime, throughput, and reliability of deployed systems.
