Job summary

Destro AI is building an end-to-end robotics software platform designed for multi-site production. The role leads unification of disparate services into one coherent architecture, creating the release, versioning, and deployment framework required to ship updates to customer sites in real time.

You will own the technical roadmap, drive engineering best practices, and mentor a growing software team while ensuring safety and reliability of robotic operations in production environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building software, with a substantial portion in robotics — AMR/AGV, warehouse automation, autonomous systems or similar.
• Shipped software running on real robots in customer environments at scale.
• Led moving from pilot to multi-site production and resolved major deployment challenges.
• Consolidated fragmented services into a unified platform with live delivery and strong ownership.

Responsibilities

• Platform Unification & Architecture: merge services into a single coherent platform with clear boundaries and data contracts.
• Version Control, Release & Update Delivery: establish real version control, semantic versioning, and automated deploys to customer hardware.
• Production Readiness & Reliability: implement CI, automated testing, telemetry, and robust incident response across the fleet.
• Engineering Leadership: define best practices, mentor engineers, and grow the software team as we scale heads count.
