Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in the United States (Wilmington, MA preferred) is seeking a Field Robotics System Engineer to operate at the intersection of hands-on robotic system expertise, customer engagement, and platform enablement.

You will act as a system-level domain expert, supporting customers from early architecture discussions through PoC, evaluation, and system integration, accelerating adoption of ADI technologies in real-world robotic systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• Proven hands-on experience designing or integrating robotic systems (prototype or deployed).
• Strong understanding of robotic technologies including motion control and sensing.
• Experience at hardware-software boundary (integration, bring-up, debugging).
• Familiarity with C/C++ and/or Python; ROS/ROS2; simulation tools like Gazebo, MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate proofs-of-concept, demos, and reference systems translating ADI capabilities into system-level showcases.
• Work hands-on with robotic subsystems and platforms (motion, sensing, perception, control) aligned to real-world use cases.
• Support system bring-up, integration, and debugging across hardware, software, and control layers.
• Lead customer engagements on platforms and system solutions with robotics companies, disruptors, and ecosystem partners.
• Develop and apply deep expertise across key areas of technology in Robotics.
• Translate platform capabilities into working PoCs that accelerate customer adoption.
• Represent ADI through customer engagements, technical forums, and industry events.
