Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a technically proficient individual to join the Code 34 ONR Expeditionary Robotics team, supporting in-field experimentation, training, and operational exercises. Travel to diverse locations for training with government civilians, contractors, or active-duty units is required.

The role requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, FAA Part 107 drone license, and comfort working in austere environments with extended hours.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 drone pilot license required.
• Basic field standards for austere environments for extended hours.
• Willing to travel and work in the field.
• Ability to diagnose technical problems in lab and field.
• Travel 35% to training and exercises.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain USV, UGV, and sUAS.
• Modify, maintain, operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair unmanned systems at lab or field level.
• Assist with inventory, packing, and movement of equipment for experiments or field exercises.
• Provide feedback to developers on usability and applicability of tested technologies.
