Job summary

FieldAI is seeking a Robotics Autonomy Engineer to support testing, deployment, and integration of wheeled robotic platforms across federal and commercial programs. You will own deployment, integration, and field performance, partnering with customers and internal teams to improve reliability and enable mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in software engineering and systems integration in Field Robotics.
• Experience in field deployment of complex technical systems.
• Proficiency in Python, C, Git, ROS.
• Familiarity with embedded systems and Linux-based systems, containerization, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging across software, hardware, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of autonomous systems in customer environments.
• Ensure systems are configured, tested, and operational in real-world conditions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain uptime and mission success.
• Gather field feedback to drive product and core-system enhancements.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and AI research teams to build scalable deployment playbooks.
