Job summary

Exotec is seeking a Field Commissioning Engineer to deploy and commission warehouse robotics and automation systems at customer sites. You will travel extensively (3 weeks per month) to install, validate, and optimize the full solution, coordinating with on-site teams and the Atlanta-based staff.

The role requires hands-on work with hardware and software, developing test plans, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software layers, and delivering reliable system performance in

Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning robotic systems or industrial automation.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of time for site work.
• BS degree in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Strong cross-functional communication and on-site client interaction.
• Ability to perform hands-on troubleshooting and software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Manage integration of Exotec products with third-party systems at customer sites.
• Lead commissioning to ensure system functionality and reliability.
• Plan, coordinate and execute system validation tests and test plans.
• Improve and maintain reliability across deployment phases.
• Co-ordinate software configurations and improvements on deployed systems.
• Troubleshoot across software, mechanical, electrical and networking layers.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and provide updates.
• Assist Atlanta-based team and document progress.
