Job summary

Exotec Solutions SAS in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Field Commissioning Engineer to bring Exotec’s robotics and automation systems to life at customer sites. This on-site, high-travel role requires hands-on work with hardware, software, and third-party equipment.

You will design and refine test plans, lead system validation, and coordinate with clients and our Atlanta team to ensure smooth deployments. A background in mechatronics/robotics and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field).
• At least 1 year commissioning robotic systems in industry.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.
• Strong communication and on-site client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage integration of Exotec products and third-party systems at client sites.
• Participate in commissioning to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Plan and execute system validation tests with defined test plans.
• Maintain reliability of full solution through deployment phases.
• Coordinate software configurations on deployed systems.
• Troubleshoot across software, mechanical, electrical, and networking layers.
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and provide updates.
• Collaborate with Atlanta-based team and document progress in internal tools.
• Assist on-site with client interactions and issue de-escalation.
