Field AI seeks a proactive Part-time Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of robotic systems (drones, quadrupeds, humanoids). Based in Burlington, TX, you must be ready to travel regularly across the U.S. and travel documentation is preferred.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, hands-on robotics experience, and strong communication to translate technical topics for varied audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Robotics/EE/Mechatronics or related technical field.
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the country, passport/REAL ID preferred for travel.
• Excellent organizational skills and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
