Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support orthopedic surgeries with both robotic Mako SmartRobotics and manual procedures. You will build deep clinical and technical expertise through hands-on training, pre-operative planning, case preparation, and in‑lab education while collaborating closely with surgeons, OR staff, and cross‑functional teams.

The role requires on‑call coverage, travel within a defined territory, and effective problem‑solving under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Clinical experience in surgical settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced OR environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in the operating room.
• Manage accounts and coordinate logistics with field teams.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
