Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Inspectors for construction services focused on roadway projects in the Northwest Ohio region, with frequent travel within the area. The role emphasizes field work and independent execution under a Department Manager, including testing and inspection across state, county, and local projects.

Qualified candidates will have civil/structural inspection experience, familiarity with highway specs, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction inspection and testing.
• Familiarity with highway construction specs and site testing.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce quality standards and specifications.
• Read project drawings, specs, blueprints and perform inspection tasks.
• Conduct construction administration and inspection for roadway/bridge projects and utilities.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports in a timely manner.
• Notify Project Engineer of status updates or non-conforming work.
