Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Technicians to support construction inspection and testing for state, county and local clients, primarily ODOT projects around Cleveland. You will combine field sampling with lab testing, ensuring quality control and reporting for earthwork, concrete and asphalt works.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing.
• New Trade School or Bachelor's grads encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with highway construction specifications is a plus.
• Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction testing is nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection for earthwork, concrete, asphalt, and utility projects.
• Perform engineering and construction field testing on roadway/bridge projects.
• Inspect and report on concrete pours, rebar placement and pipe replacements.
• Inspect and sample construction materials.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Assist Engineers in field during soil and materials investigations.
