Job summary

Prometric seeks experienced Registered Nurses to evaluate candidates for CNA certification at our Houston centers. The role focuses on clinical observation, proctoring, and ensuring a high-quality test experience across testing sites.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has long-term care exposure, strong communication, and reliable technical skills. This on-site role involves travel within the local area and may require multiple test days per week.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of operation.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of long‑term care experience.
• Staff development/training experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, and basic software).

Responsibilities

• Proctoring a computerized knowledge-based examination.
• Objective observation and scoring of candidates.
• Test event delivery and security.
• Prepare for events by monitoring rosters and site setup.
• Greet examinees and verify identification.
• Monitor candidates during exams and direct written exams when applicable.
• Maintain testing environment and ensure candidate flow.
• Observe and rate candidates on practical exams.
• Report issues to the supervisor and protect exam content.
• Reboot workstations and reset passwords as needed.
• Ensure a seamless candidate experience and adherence to policies.
