Job summary

Assisted Home Health & Hospice in Santa Barbara is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for full-time or per diem roles to cover Santa Barbara and nearby areas. You will assess patient needs and deliver comprehensive nursing care with flexibility to serve Carpinteria to Goleta.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current, active license in the state of California Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR, health clearance, TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Have flexible hours and work the Santa Barbara area from Carpinteria to Goleta.
• Complete initial and on-going comprehensive assessments of the patient’s needs
• Provide service and /or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
• Counsel, support and instruct the patient, family and caregiver in meeting nursing and related needs
