Job summary

Assisted Home Health & Hospice is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to support Lompoc and nearby areas (North County) for our Santa Barbara office. The role involves comprehensive assessments and skilled nursing care to help patients in the community.

Applicants must hold a California nursing license and current CPR/health clearance, TB clearance. Flexible hours are available to cover the Santa Barbara region and surrounding communities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Current, active license in the state of California Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR, health clearance, TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Have flexible hours and work the Santa Barbara area from Carpinteria to Goleta.
• Complete initial and on-going comprehensive assessments of the patient's needs
• Provide service and /or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills
• Initiate appropriate preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures
• Counsel, support and instruct the patient, family and caregiver in meeting nursing and related needs
