Job summary

NurseCore is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for home health assignments and case management opportunities in Santa Barbara. Flexible shifts include 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, with per diem options and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Eligible RNs must have California licensure, CPR certification, and recent clinical experience with care planning, patient education, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• One year of supervised RN experience in the last three years.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months.
• Physical exam within the last 12 months.
• Completed skills assessment specific to role.
• Sexual Harassment Prevention Training (or willingness to complete).
• Strong communication, judgment, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in school-based settings during regular school hours.
• Participate in developing and updating individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, supervisors, and care teams.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain professional communication with students, families, and school staff.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Santa Barbara Opportunities:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shifts
• 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shifts
• 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts

Clinical Requirements:

• Trach, Vent and G-tube experience required

• Strong assessment and independent nursing skills
