Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. invites college students to join a 10-week Summer Internship in Worcester, MA. You will work on Risk Solutions projects, gain field experience in insurance risk, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and complete a Capstone presentation to senior management.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program.
• GPA of 3.0+ preferred.
• Full-time 10-week commitment.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in future.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research technical information to support Risk Solutions services.
• Attend co-surveys with experienced staff to learn consulting skills.
• Complete Capstone project and present to senior management.
• Help develop Risk Solutions support resources.
• Assist field consultants with pre-visit account research.
• Develop account loss trend analyses.
• Follow up with customers to move forward with recommended services (sensors, drone surveys, telematics).
• Follow up on open Recommendations by calling customers and logging notes.
• Assist Technical Directors and AVPs with assigned projects.
• Present a final internship summary to management at program end.
