Job summary

TUV SUD America is seeking a risk engineering associate to support production, mechanical, and electrical equipment risk assessments. You will participate in site inspections and loss control surveys, develop technical knowledge through mentoring, and prepare detailed reports for clients.

The role requires travel up to 50-70% domestically, with occasional international travel. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required, with start dates for recent graduates within 3–4 weeks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; recent graduates may start within 3–4 weeks or graduates in May 2027 who can start full-time in June 2027.
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good planning and time management, especially for coordinating travel.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks.
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys with experienced consultants.
• Develop technical knowledge through mentoring and structured training.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines.
• Build professional relationships with clients by being courteous and reliable on site.
• Support account service teams, including client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and timelines under supervision.
