Job summary

TUV SUD America, Inc. is seeking a risk engineering professional to support production, mechanical, and electrical equipment risk assessments across client sites. You will participate in inspections, develop technical knowledge through mentoring, and prepare clear technical reports in line with established formats.

This full-time role emphasizes travel, client interaction, and collaboration with service teams, with onboarding and ongoing training to grow technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. We welcome recent graduates available to start within 3-4 weeks, as well as students expected to graduate in May 2027 who can begin full-time employment in June 2027.
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate.
• Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good planning and time management skills, especially when coordinating travel.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks.
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys alongside experienced consultants.
• Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job mentoring and structured training programs.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines.
• Build professional relationships with clients by acting in a courteous and reliable manner on site.
• Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision.
