TUV SUD America is seeking a full-time Risk Engineering Associate in the Kansas City area. The role involves supporting risk engineering services for production, mechanical, and electrical equipment, participating in site inspections, and developing technical knowledge through mentoring.

Travel is extensive, with expectations of 50-70% domestic travel and occasional international trips. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, strong interest in mechanical/electrical/industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field completed prior to start date.
• Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role.

Responsabilités

• Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks.
• Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys with experienced consultants.
• Develop technical knowledge through mentoring and structured training programs.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines.
• Build professional relationships with clients by being courteous and reliable on site.
• Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations.
• Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision.
