Job summary

DataScan, part of the Solifi group, seeks Field Risk Specialists to audit floorplanned inventories at automotive and related dealerships. This field role requires residence near Gaithersburg, MD and regular travel, including overnight stays, to verify inventory, review dealer records, and document findings using a mobile audit app.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
• Candidate must travel overnight 5–7 nights per month.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Verify in-stock inventory by inspecting VIN/serial numbers, often outdoors.
• Meet with dealership personnel to determine missing inventory status.
• Review and validate dealer records related to sold, missing, or damaged inventory.
• Verify MSOs and vehicle titles for accuracy.
• Record inventory status and audit findings on a mobile device.
• Document dealership visit details and audit observations.
• Communicate audit results clearly to dealership staff and clients.
• Assess risk conditions and discuss findings with client representatives.
