Job summary

LandSolutions Inc. seeks experienced Right-of-Way Agents to support utility, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects across New Mexico and Arizona. You will cultivate relationships with landowners, explain requirements, and negotiate easement and access agreements.

The role involves field outreach, title review, and coordinating with project teams to meet acquisition targets. The successful candidate will travel regularly, manage multiple files, and maintain accurate records while

Qualifications

Three or more years in right-of-way acquisition or related real estate field.
Experience supporting electric transmission, utility, renewable energy, or linear infrastructure projects preferred.
Negotiation of easements, fee-simple purchases, rights-of-entry, access agreements, licenses, permits, and related property interests.
Experience conducting in-person landowner outreach and negotiations.
Working knowledge of title reports, deeds, legal descriptions, survey plans, plats, and property records.
Ability to interpret route maps, drawings, GIS data, and survey documentation.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Conduct face-to-face outreach with landowners, occupants, and other affected stakeholders.
Establish and maintain professional landowner relationships.
Negotiate voluntary agreements for easements, rights-of-way, access rights, and other property interests.
Support fee-simple acquisitions, partial acquisitions, and subdivision requirements.
Obtain rights-of-entry and survey access agreements for project activities.
Explain project plans, impacts, compensation, and terms clearly.
Review title reports, deeds, ownership records, and encumbrances.
Identify ownership issues and potential land-related risks.
Prepare and present offer packages, acquisition documents, and notices.
Coordinate with project teams and professionals across disciplines.
Maintain records of contacts, negotiations, and agreements.
Update land acquisition tracking systems and project records.
