Job summary

LandSolutions Inc. is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent to acquire and secure land rights for utility, transmission, and infrastructure projects.

Based in Phoenix or Prescott, AZ, with hybrid work options for nearby candidates, you will lead negotiations, review titles, and coordinate with project teams to secure essential licenses and easements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Land Administration, Real Estate, Planning or related field.
• 3+ years in Right-of-Way, land agent, surface land or land acquisition.
• Experience negotiating easements, rights-of-way, licenses and land agreements.
• Knowledge of land title, legal descriptions, survey plans, and ownership research.
• Experience on utility, transmission, pipeline, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with GIS platforms and MS Office; ability to research property records.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and secure land rights, easements, licenses, permits, and property interests.
• Lead landowner outreach, negotiations and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Review land titles, ownership records, surveys, and legal descriptions.
• Negotiate compensation, damage settlements, and access agreements.
• Coordinate with project managers, legal counsel, engineers, and env. specialists.
• Maintain accurate records of agreements and project documentation.
• Support route planning through property research and landowner assessments.
• Attend landowner meetings and public consultations as required.
• Identify land-related risks and propose solutions.
• Monitor schedules to align land acquisition with construction timelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Build relationships with landowners, Indigenous communities and agencies.
