Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, Inc seeks Rig Welders to perform field welding, fabrication, repair, and installation at diverse job sites including industrial facilities, pipelines, and oilfields. You will interpret blueprints, welding specs, and procedures, and operate welding rigs independently or with a crew.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in demanding field environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a rig welder in industrial/oilfield settings.
• Ability to read weld procedures and blueprints.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if operating a company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to different project locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field welding using SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, or other approved processes as required.
• Weld carbon steel and other materials according to project specs and procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, isometric drawings, and specs.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot welding rigs and equipment.
• Inspect materials and welds for quality and compliance with requirements.
• Prepare pipes, fittings, and structural components for welding and fabrication.
• Follow safety policies and maintain workspace in safe condition.
