Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, Inc. is seeking a qualified Pipefitter to lay out, fabricate, install, and repair piping systems in industrial and construction environments. The role requires reading piping drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs, and ensuring work meets project specs and OSHA safety requirements.

You will work with other trades to coordinate installations, perform hydrostatic tests, and follow approved procedures while maintaining a safe, clean work area on site.

Qualifications

• Experience reading piping drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs is preferred.
• Knowledge of pipe materials, fittings, valves, flanges, gaskets, and piping components.
• Able to measure, cut, bevel, thread, and fit pipe per project specs.
• Familiar with pipe layout, fit-up, alignment, and installation methods.
• Comfortable complying with safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and project specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel, thread, groove, and prepare pipe for installation.
• Install pipe, fittings, flanges, valves, and related components.
• Coordinate with crews to install piping systems for water, steam, gas, and other services.
• Assist with hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, flushing, and system prep.
• Ensure alignment, elevations, and supports meet drawings and standards.
