Job summary

Evers & Sons Inc. seeks experienced Rig Welders for field work in Pecos, TX to weld process piping per ASME B31.3. You must have your own rig and be able to pass a company welding test, with stainless 316 material experience preferred.

Travel, overtime, and outdoor conditions are involved, with a strong safety culture and commitment to quality. Responsibilities include reading isometrics and welding procedures, cutting, fitting, and welding pipe to project specs, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years pipe welding experience.
• B31.3 / stainless combo welding test.
• Experience welding 316 stainless steel.
• Ability to read isometric drawings and welding symbols.
• Own rig and basic welding tools required.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform pipe welding using SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG) processes on carbon and 316SS.
• Read and interpret isometric drawings and welding procedures
• Cut, fit, and weld pipe in accordance with project specifications and code requirements
• Ensure all welds meet company, client, and industry standards (B31.3)
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup for each application
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in required training and certifications
• Track production and complete required documentation as needed
