Job summary

Turner Industries seeks a Rig Welder for project work in the Pasadena, TX area. The welder will lay out, fit, and weld fabricated components to assemble tanks, pressure vessels, pipes and structural parts, using arc, MIG, TIG and related processes.

The role requires a minimum of four years of welding experience, completion of a pre-employment qualification test, and post-offer drug/alcohol screening and a physical evaluation.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience in welding.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Hazard Communication orientation/test.
• OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87).
• Job site orientation.
• Safety equipment as required by client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, and weld components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipes and structures.
• Weld pipe and structural steel using arc, MIG, TIG and other processes.
• Follow client requirements and safety protocols during fabrication and welding.
