Job summary

Turner Industries seeks skilled Combination Welders to join the Tank crew in Old Ocean, TX. You will lay out, fit, and weld components such as tanks, vessels and pipes using arc, MIG, and TIG processes. Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills are essential.

Minimum four years of welding experience are required, with a valid TWIC card and the ability to pass weld tests and safety requirements. Drug test and physical may be required; local candidates preferred due to no per diem policy.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of welding experience.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Must have valid TWIC card.
• Safety orientation/test as required by job site and client.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fits, and welds fabricated components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipe and structural parts.
• Selects equipment and plans layout, and welds parts using arc, MIG, TIG processes.
• May repair and assemble parts by bolting; reads and interprets blueprints and specifications.
