Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to visit local retailers within the Indianapolis territory and act as the face of the brand in the field. You will educate merchants on the client’s financial services, provide on-site support, and ensure a strong customer experience at each location.

This role requires a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and the ability to travel daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
