Job summary

2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist in Indianapolis to build retailer relationships and drive program visibility. You will visit local merchants, educate them on client financial services, and support business growth across your territory.

The role involves daily visits, field travel, and on-site support, with strong emphasis on customer experience, timely documentation, and achieving territory goals. A positive, independent work style is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Six months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Educate new merchants on client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Travel within territory to meet goals and coverage expectations.
