Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct daily onsite safety briefings before starting the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and crew. Inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools, and discuss safety concerns. Complete and submit the Daily Hazard Analysis form to Supervisors as applicable.
- Ensure all project communication is completed before starting any WTI project. This includes communication with:
- Sales Rep regarding weekly/daily schedule
- WTI crew members about scope of work and daily tasks
- The customer before, during, and after the work day
- WTI Supervisor about schedule changes, project updates, and crew issues
- Manage projects efficiently by overseeing crew start/end times, production rates, and ensuring availability of tools and materials to complete projects safely and within scope.
- Perform end-of-day and/or end-of-project walkthroughs to ensure quality repairs, address issues, and document work with before and after pictures sent to the Sales Rep. Record daily updates on work performed, materials used, and supplies purchased.
- Maintain professional appearance and customer interaction standards for all Field Reps.
- Order, track, and monitor inventory, ensuring quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted on time.
- Review each field service project over $5,000 for pricing accuracy per pricing procedures.
- Submit projects over $20,000 to the WTI Supervisor before presenting to the Sales Rep or customer.
- Monitor and document the performance of Field Resource Reps, taking corrective actions as needed. Consult with WTI Field Resource Supervisor and Human Resources when necessary.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Regional Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in the commercial roofing industry.
- Thorough knowledge of built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and steep-slope roofing systems, including proper repair techniques.
