Bayer Crop Science is seeking a Research Specialist III to support field physiology experiments in Monmouth, IL. You will manage seeding, staging plant development, data collection and harvest operations, while supervising temporary staff and coordinating with project teams to ensure high-quality execution.

The role requires field-based research experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to travel during peak periods; UAV and pesticide licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Crop Physiology, Agronomy, Plant Science, Biology or related fields (by Dec 2026)
• Field based research experience required
• Valid Driver's License required
• Willingness to travel during peak field periods and drive in field operations
• UAV pilot license or willingness to obtain; Illinois pesticide license or willingness to obtain

Responsabilités

• Manage seeding, staging plant development, data collection and harvest operations
• Supervise and train temporary employees
• Coordinate with Project Teams and other research sites for high-quality execution
• Contribute to planning and rationalization of experiments as part of project teams
• Work with Data Team to ensure accurate and timely data delivery
• Contribute to data quality control and use of specialized Crop Physiology equipment
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Compliance standards
• Operate a company vehicle as part of duties
